Recently I purchased two labels for German tins of Herring. Both are in excellent condition. They also can be found at Jim Pool’s book “Rations of the German Wehrmacht in World War II” at page 64. Both labels are printed in Russian and German. The first one says: “Marinirte Heringe” and the second one “Delicatess-Heringe in Tomaten”. Size of the labels is: 385 x 40 mm.

I am searching for the right can, where I can put these labels on. Haven’t found one sofar, and I think this will be a difficult task. The modern tins seem to be smaller. Anybody any ideas? Else I have to resize the reproduction labels to modern tins.
