Information
This banknote was issued by the Reichskreditkasse Berlin 1942. This issue was the original money given out for use of the Wehrmacht (German Army) and was used to pay troops while in transit. When a soldier arrived at his post the notes could be converted to the local currency or occupation notes. To prevent a misuse the value of this note was 10 times its denomination within the army.
